OK, so it's been a while already and I still haven't gotten any further in the book. I've been working my butt off, and everyone I've been telling about GTD has been smiling at me somewhat amusedly. Not quite sure whether this is because the people I have told know me too well and are thus deservedly skeptical, or whether they're just being cynical about yet another self-help book...
Oh well, back to browsing the web and wasting time. ;]
